Execution-oriented advisory.
We are not in the business of producing reports. We diagnose what matters, agree the priorities with you, and stay involved until the changes are in place and showing results.
Four steps, every engagement
- 01
Diagnose
Understand the economics, operations and constraints of the business. We work from your financials, your systems and conversations with management, not from assumptions.
- 02
Prioritise
Identify the highest-value interventions. A short list of changes with the greatest commercial impact, each with an owner, a timeline and a measure of success.
- 03
Execute
Work alongside management to implement the changes: building the dashboards, redesigning the processes, running the pricing review, preparing the information.
- 04
Measure
Track the impact against agreed commercial outcomes, such as margin, EBITDA, cash conversion or owner time released, and adjust where needed.
How engagements are structured
Most clients start with a Business Diagnostic. What follows depends on what it finds.
Business Diagnostic
A fixed-scope assessment of the commercial, operational and financial constraints on the business, ending with a prioritised set of opportunities.
Improvement programme
A defined project to deliver specific outcomes, such as a margin improvement programme, an operating model redesign or transaction preparation.
Ongoing advisory
A retained relationship for owners who want a senior, independent advisor in the business on a regular basis, holding management to the plan.
What we ask of you
Advisory only works when both sides commit. Before an engagement starts, we agree three things.
- Access to the financial and operational information we need, including the parts that are uncomfortable.
- Regular time with the owner for decisions, and a member of management who takes responsibility for implementation.
- Clear commercial outcomes that we will be measured against.
Understand what is holding your business back.
Our Business Diagnostic identifies the commercial, operational and financial constraints limiting performance and highlights the highest-priority opportunities for improvement. It starts with a short Microsoft Teams call with one of our consultants.
